How the Warriors had a Record Setting Night

0223.1.pngThe game on Thursday night looked like the Golden State Warriors were going to fight against the Los Angeles Clippers to the end. The rivalry goes several years back with the Clippers talking smack; so now the Golden State Warriors zipped them up (almost every time they play now). Clippers playing good for now in the 1st half. Clippers, without Chris Paul, was still leading big at half time, 61-49. The Clippers had the lead up to 16 points. You know the Clippers playing good when Blake Griffin shooting and making 3’s. This is a rivalry game, you can tell with the technical fouls (4 techs) and the Warriors took a while to get their engine running. They went off in the 3rd quarter. Curry making 3’s and shaking and baking to the rim. Stephen Curry making 3 and getting fouled. Five 3’s for Curry so far, and dancing doing it. Kevin Durant scoring 15 points in the 3rd quarter shooting 6 for 7.

0223.2.png

Warriors scoring 50 points in the 3rd quarter.  The first 50-point quarter since March of 2014, when the Knicks played the Lakers. Lakers scored 51 on the Knicks; but this record-setting night as this is unlikely to drop 50 in a quarter. Stephen Curry had 35 points by the end of the 3rd. Curry making a buzzer beating 3 to end the third quarter. A 31-footer buzzer beater for Curry. 20 points and 5 3’s in the third quarter alone for Stephen Curry. The Golden State Warriors scored 99 points by the end of the 3rd with a quarter left. I must say, they had 49 points at half time. High power offense.

The Golden State Warriors took over the game in the 3rd quarter. Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant Show. Los Angeles Clippers played in this rivalry game. The Warriors has too much offense. Mid-way through the fourth quarter, the game looks over. Warriors had a record-breaking second half. Warriors finally woke up. Draymond Green must have gave his high emotion half time speech. Curry shooting was a big reason the game was high scoring. Stephen Curry long 3’s and he got the range for days. Curry made 6 3’s by the way. Shout out for Shaun Livingston palm blocking Clippers Forward, Marreese Speights. Warriors had a good game as they shined at home in the Oracle Arena  — another record game. Warriors won, 123-113. They look good. Warriors won the season series 4-0.

LA Lakers Making Moves: Jeanie Buss and Magic Johnson making BIG Changes in Los Angeles

lalakers.png

You thought the DeMarcus Cousins deal after the All Star Game was the biggest thing? NOTTTT. Lakers are topping that with Jeanie Buss cleaning out the front office with taking the basketball duties away from her brother, Jim Buss. Mitch Kupchak, the great general manager for the Lakers for years and a former Los Angeles Lakers player,  is also going to be replaced as well. The Clean Out is real. Magic Johnson is in charge now and the Lakers are about to be relevant again. Free agents are coming to Los Angeles this summer. Expect big names and Magic will make it happen. Lakers are about to do it big; we will see.

lalakers1This clean out was coming for a while and Jeanie Buss making it happen. I bet Los Angeles Lakers Fans are ecstatic right now. Happy as they can be. Magic Johnson being the President of Basketball Operations is a good move since he knows basketball. I mean, the man is a legend and one of the greatest basketball minds ever. Los Angeles Lakers are in good hands. Lakers’ fans got the answers they need. Lakers’ fans should thank Jeanie Buss and Magic Johnson. Who knows Phil Jackson might come back to the Lakers too. On that thought, she clean house with Phil Jackson too. They are not together anymore. Some one got her fire up today. You go girl! Making changes. Changes are for the good, sometimes. So we will see. Think Positive. Greatness is coming back to the Los Angeles Lakers with the basketball moves made. Los Angeles Lakers’ fans, I know, I know, you all are 😀 right now.

lalakers2.png

Even better, the Los Angeles Lakers have some good young players. Julius Randle, D’ Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Larry Lance Jr. (his father played in the NBA, Larry Lance, a high tall flyer himself and you can see lalakers3why his son got the ups from) and Brandon Ingram. Wait to they develop and get some Star Players around them. Their record is not good this year and Luke Walton, the young coach, will have to have some time to get some veteran players and develop this young players. With the Free Agent Star or Stars they might pick up this summer. The Lakers might be taking Los Angeles back from the Los Angeles Clippers. Magic is running the Shows in Los Angeles now; as he did when he was the Point Guard at 6 feet 9 inches of the Lakers, when he was the leader of the Show Time Lakers in the 80’s. Greatness. Big Move. Legend Status.Woman Power. Improvement. Brainy Versatility.

What is your take regarding this news? Will Magic gonna do his “magic” to have the Lakers on top of the game? Or is just another big news but no context to it? Tell me your thoughts, comment below.

Day 11 and 12 Workout: Getting in shape and feel good

I really need to find my earphones and music player for tired days when I got to work out. I kind of feel like my body getting in shape back. The shot drilling workout getting my shot and foot work technique right. Think, I am going to change it up (though). This might be the last week; going to find some other kind of workout. I am getting used and bored with this one, which means I have to change it. Workout is about motivation; and doing workout that bores you not going to motivate you. SO probably new workout next week or maybe not, we will see. My shots looking good though, with my flick on the wrist on the basketball was feeling good. Its about wrist rotation too in shooting.

Once I get in rhythm, my jumper is pretty good. Mess around and drop nothing but net on you, LOL. Did some running today from my free, throw misses (LOL) but its all good; it is a win-win situation. I get in shape and get my free throw better. Running today and my knees feeling better, so we about to get it. My knees are good, you all chill (LOL), just need to start stretching more. Stretching is wonderful when you do it. No more cramps too. I am about to get everything in rotation again; getting use to the daily healthy routine again 😀 Lets get it 😀

Running was long and boring, LOL, but I finished though. My body feeling better. I did like a mile running, so lost like 100 calories, LOL. I can feel my body changing. This is my 3rd week and wait till I get my nutrition right. Its about to go bananas! Think am actually going to change my workout up. On the 3rd-4th week, change your workout up so you don’t plateau and you don’t get bored (you know). This workout about to get it. I am excited and running I am. Running to beat my challenges up, LOL.

Getting changes. Seeing Results. Working out. Progress. Brainy

DeMarcus Cousins and All Star MVP Anthony Davis Teaming up for a Playoff Run in New Orleans: Do you think they can play along side each other and be successful this season and beyond?

cousins1.png

MVP All Star Anthony Davis sure did get a good gift after hearing the New Orleans Management got DeMarcus Cousins from the Sacramento Kings in a trade after All Star Sunday. I mean, the trade didn’t really make much sense. I know the Sacramento Kings didn’t want to pay DeMarcus Cousins for 5 years and 209 million dollar this off-season. DeMarcus Cousins has maturity problems and he can be emotional. I guess, the Sacramento Kings Front Office wanted a “culture change” (as they say). I guess, they don’t believe in him to be the “franchise player”. Vlade Divac, the General Manager for the Sacramento Kings, didn’t look too confident about in his press conference. I don’t know about this trade. I mean, DeMarcus Cousins is the best big man in the NBA for a trade like this. I mean…uhhh???????? I know Kings’ fans confuse. I would say, its okay (LOL) but pat on the shoulder. Pelicans got DeMarcus Cousins. New Orleans and Pelicans Fans is still buzzing from the All Star Game.

cousins2.png

The Sacramento Kings will get 3 guards: Shooting Guard Buddy Hield, Point Guard/Shooting Guard and Small Forward Tyreke Evans who used to play for and got drafted by the Sacramento Kings. Guard Langston Galloway and a first and second round pick in the 2017 Draft from the Pelicans. The New Orleans Pelicans will get Big man DeMarcus and Small Forward Omri Casspi. The deal says it all. This was the news after the All Star Game. They surprised Boogie aka DeMarcus Cousins. I don’t know like you can do way better than that. Lets think positive; though it is a culture change alright.

cousins3.png

The question is, since DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis are on the same team now, would they play well together? Will they win some playoffs? Will they make a playoff run now? Will they make the playoff to begin with? I know with this trade, people will think the New Orleans Pelicans will be a good team, BUT slow your roll, they still need players around them. I am not sure how they going to play around each other. I want to see how this is going to work out. And the New Orleans Pelicans got to show DeMarcus Cousins this will work if they want to re-sign him this off-season. But…hmmm…they are way below. 500 and at 23-34 records? Lets see what they can do. Lets see what Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins will do. DeMarcus Cousins is close to home in Alabama; so maybe him being close to home will be good for him. Lets see what happens. NEW ORLEANS ALL STAR GAME

allstar4

The game begins with a standing ovation for the hometown hero New Orleans Pelicans and University Of Kentucky own Anthony Davis. Kevin Durant getting some no, so much love, LOL. The media making a big deal of Westbrook and Durant beef. Oklahoma Thunders’ Russell Westbrook doesn’t hold his feelings back as you all see. This will be a good game at the end of the fourth quarter if it is close. That is when they play the hardest. So lets see whose in and the West won last year in a blow out on Valentine’s Day 196-173 in Toronto, Canada. So lets see if the East wants to win this year. The West team looking like the squad to beat and East team looking all right.

all3.png

The Nigerian Decent, Greece Native and Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo, getting in some vicious dunks. Dunks everywhere like too many dunks. You all slow down, LOL. Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry making threes like he normally does, though to switch the dunk flow up, major LOL. Everyone scoring in the first quarter. Everyone getting along (cough…cough..LOL). Kevin Durant to Russell Westbrook for a dunk. Lots of Dunks, though. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Anthony Davis lead the 1st quarter with 10 points, though. Russell Westbrook and Boston Celtics’ Isaiah Thomas going at it with a 3-point shooting battle. Am Still on that dunk by Giannis Antetokounmpo. The wind mill one. Oooooo

Lots of traveling going on, not good, LOL. Stop that 4 to 5 steps traveling. This isn’t a trip, LOL. You are only allowed 2 steps. High scoring game; lets see if one of the team get to 200 points and make history. Both team combine for history setting record 189 points and the half time. 97-92 West wining at the half. I see Giannis Antetokounmpo dropping his 26th point on Steph Curry’s forehead. Giannis had a rebound off Steph Curry  and dunked over Steph Curry. Curry got a two hand dunk after he got dunk upon, LOL. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s family enjoying his dunks tonight and he is playing good; he has 28 points so far in his 1st All Star Game. He ended up with 30 points. That Greece Freak is long and athletic out of this world. Dropping Buckets.

all4.png

Anthony Davis taking the show over with scoring the All time All Star Game point record with 44 points. Russell Westbrook got 41 points right now so he is going to break that record. Wilt Chamberlain had the record with 42 points and 24 rebounds in the 1962 All Star Game In St. Louis Arena. Boston Celtics’ Bob Pettit won the All Star Game MVP though in St. Louis Arena. Anthony Davis, the home town player, looks like he is going to win the NBA All Star MVP. Anthony Davis has 52 points right now in the All Star Game.New Orleans Pelicans. That’s what I thought, Anthony Davis won the 2017 NBA ALL STAR MVP in the Smoothie King Center on his home court. 192-182 West All Stars Won.

High Scoring game. NBA All Star. MVP. Brainy Versatility.
