Singapore has a fascinating culture. The official language is Malay, Mandarin, Tamil, and English. You are about to know some things you probably did not even know about Singapore. It led me to learn and know more about the people in Singapore. It is in Southeast Asia. A city-state that has 63 smaller islands. They are in love with Toilets.
In Singapore, there is what you call Toilet Day on November 19. You cannot flush public toilets in Singapore because it is against the law.
Singapore males have to serve in Singapore military for 1-2 years if he is born in Singapore. You cannot chew gum in Singapore unless for medical purposes.
If a police see you with gum, well, you might be in trouble.
On the fun side, Singapore has the world’s second-highest Observation Wheel, which is called Singapore Wheel. Another one, Singapore Grand Prix Racing Circuits is the first in Singapore; and it is where the first F1 Night Race. It was held at 2008 Inaugural F1 Race.
People in Singapore love food, and they are the creator of food courts. I mean, in Singapore you can find Sannakji or Live Octopus, Crocodile Paws, and Fish Sperms or Milt. Interesting food in Singapore that people would not know much about if you did not live or visit Singapore. These dishes are served in restaurants. They love food so much that every day in Singapore, two new restaurants are opened. Cars, cash, credit cards, condominiums, and country clubs are what runs the country of Singapore. Those Big Kings makes the success of Singapore.
If you happen to like Orchid Garden well Singapore has the world largest tropical orchid garden, which is Singapore Botanic Gardens.
In addition, Singapore is the ideal place for kids. Singapore kids are the smartest; they are top of the line intelligence in Math and Science.
Children and plants are the centerpieces for the people of Singapore. The Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden (the first Asian Garden) in Singapore was dedicated to the Kids of Singapore.
The Singapore Zoo, which is a tropical paradise, is top 5 in the world; and you know kids love zoos. Singapore also has thrill rides like MegaZip or the Flying Bat of Sentosa Islands. There is also Merlion, the National Icon of Singapore. Kids will love it. Merlion is half-lion and half-fish sort of like a mermaid.
In Singapore, children have their own day where they are appreciated. October 1st is for kids below 12 and in July, well, the first Sunday in July is Youth Day for teenagers. Singapore is for kids, as you see. Kids will definitely love this country.
Tradition in Singapore starts from the Singapore Art Festival which is celebrated every June; that display art talents of the local and overseas artist.
Annual Night Festival in late August that is full of beauty. Independence Day is on August 9th. It is a big festival with kids from the choir performing in the festival. Music, food, entertainment and lots of variety of colorful things like clothing, art and much more.
The Independence Day displays the meaning of the Singaporean Flag, which is a democracy, progress, justice, peace, and equality. All those are displayed in the Independence Festival.
With tradition, there is also music. Singapore like Folk and Tribal music, Rock’N’Roll, and Pop music. They also like Metal Bands such as native Singaporean bands like The Corruptor, Hella Morrigan, Chaos Aftermath, and Kuliyuga.
Singapore has a lot to offer. I mean, children are the future in Singapore and the way Singaporeans celebrate the kids over there shows it. Singaporeans love food and they have creative ways of making their food. Singaporeans are one smart and creative people. Singapore is a good place for tourists. The food I mention, their culture and traditions are good enough to check out the country. Singapore, a country of hope and improvement. Beautiful View out there, as I noticed.
