Day 29 and 30: Spike Up!

spikeup.pngMonday was good. Refreshed…eat some tangerine to start my day and off to make some money. I prepared like 4 bottles with a little bit of apple cider vinegar in it, so I was ready for anything. I am losing weight and feeling good. Workout Monday was okay got it done, like I always do…so you already know :D. Apple Cider Vinegar push me through the last rep of the workout. Those long leap jumps and vertical jumps right after get to you. Finished it off with some free-throws. My dribbles getting better so this basketball workouts is good. I eat some fish and broccoli. Need to cook my fish thoroughly though. I need to start stretching more because of stomach cramps. Stomach cramps are no joke, like they will come and get that muscle and tightening it up. So painful and last for some minutes. I need to stretch more and drink more than a gallon of water a day. Drank some more water, so no more cramps. I got this:D

Tuesday was okay. I had to change up my meals. Getting cod but I wanted salmon, but the fat was bothering me…so I got the cod. Geesh! Fishes are expensive. Got the cod and it taste alright. I was feeling better. Needed a change of food in my mouth. Now to the workout, it went right quick, so the quick workouts means a lot of sweating. Sweating then some cod and broccoli afterwards. I got through the workout and went on to the rest of my day. Lets do this. Workout. Workout. Workout. Now stretching so I don’t get no cramps.

Overall, my workouts are going good, along with the diet I am in right now. I need to find a balance plan for a lifestyle though, instead of doing diets. I think, I might of find it. It is try and see kind of thing because you don’t know how it is and if it will work till you try it. So I will try some new food plans and see if that works for me. I will let you all know about it. Probably going to start doing some cooking. Show you all my master chefs skills, LOL. Yeah, workout is going good. Good to be back in the game. I am slowly getting in the game. So let’s get this workout in. BE Adaptive. BE Active. Brainy Versatility! 😀

Unique Herb that Helps in Building Muscles

alfalfa2Alfalfa, also known as “Medicago Sativa” (leaf), is a powerful herb that is full of proteins, vitamin, and minerals, that will help you build some muscles. Oh yeah, it is also full of antioxidants for quick muscle recovery after working out. I used Alfalfa to help me build some muscle along with other proteins as well. I couldn’t resist not buying it at Walmart, seeing how cheap it was (like $4 for 300 tablets with 650 mg per tablet). It was a done deal. I bought it last year when my journey with herbs began. I didn’t like taking all those muscle supplements filled with chemicals. I wanted to use natural components to help me build muscles. I did my research on Alfalfa and it feels like it worked. It was incorporated with my other proteins like chicken and fish (when I eat). Alfalfa comes in various form such as Capsule, Liquid form, Tablet and Powdered form.

I used 2 or 3 tablets, so I got over a gram every time I used it. Too much of alfalfawhich ever of what you are using is not good, so chill with that. I wanted to have it in powdered form, because I feel like it is better and it is more natural in my mind. The tablet is good enough. I used the Spring Valley Whole Herb Alfalfa with 650 mg. The directions say to use 2 tablets every time you use it, which is 1.3 grams (which is basically what I did). However, just because the direction says, that doesn’t mean it is how much you need to take for you to see results over time.

The other ingredients with it includes Celluose (Plant Origin), Croscarmellose, contains less than or (< 2%) 2% of Calcium Silicate and Vegetable Magnesium Stearate. In my view, it is pretty good and worth it. I felt like, I got some kind of benefits from it. Next time I use it, I will probably buy the Alfalfa powder from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Alfafa+Powder).

Alfalfa also has a lot of other benefits such as:

  • detoxifying the body
  • support the joint and digestive health
  • support women’s health
  • fight inflammation
  • boost the immune system

My experience with Alfalfa was good; and as you already know, I would try it again. I am all about herbs and natural things. The more natural it is, the better. You all try the herb out and see. I tried the tablet form, but I think the powdered form would be better, so the Amazon link is provided above. So, pick which brand you want and do your own research. Always do your own research when trying to try out something new. Here is a link to start with: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/southfacts_alf.htm. So you can try it and see yourself. Healthy, muscle and living life

Day 21 and 22: Bounce in My Step and Bouncing Back Strong

I was feeling good and my stop and go move was getting better. I have to be able to sell my hesitation move, so I can shoot or go by my defender. Jumping as high as I can when I touch the rim got creative, because now I am practicing my dribble as I jump as high as I can going for a lay-up. Put some fun to it, you know. The Leap Jump Forward was the one I was doing last workout that was burning my legs. GOOD BURNS. LET IT BURN. That is good :D. Pain is weakest leaving the body. It was leaving alright, LOL. Today, I changed it up, put it last so I can give the other workouts the proper attention they deserved. I was jumping all nice and smooth. Feels like I was gliding in the air the way I was jumping forward. It felt good.

Finished with 10 free throws that I have to make; and before I leave, I have to make sure my last shot is nothing but net. Good habit to follow as a shooter. Now to that Tabata workout, I mean, it was quick as always and making me sweat nothing more to it, however, I am starting before the 10-second rest and going past the 20-second workout time. What can I say, I tend to “over-achieve” in my routines. I over do it, which can be good in a way, but doing the proper amount of workout is good for recovery and the body. Getting them gains in. Refreshing the body. Get your gains in.

Both workout days were good even though I didn’t want to workout that Tabata day. I did it though. Pulling it through. The basketball game on TV, Clippers vs. Bulls, did help me though. On days working out is not in your system, put some fun in it. Working out with some basketball on my mind was doing it. I am adding on to these workout days…Woooo wooooooo! I am feeling better and the next 2 weeks my body is about to change. Then, I will build on that throughout the year. Come on you all! Come work out with me and let’s get in shape.
