The Shocking Truth about the Cleveland Cavaliers

cavs.png

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks. First game back after the All Star game. NBA Trade Deadline Day. Carmel Anthony vs. LeBron James. Brother vs. Brother. Homie vs. Homie. Charles Oakley in the building. The game is at the Quick Loan Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Crowd is hype. Looks like LeBron is ready to get this second half of the season ready. New York Knicks has an early lead. Knicks playing good defense to begin with. You can’t let Carmelo set his feet, that’s nothing but net. Courtney Lee playing good too that’s a boost for the Knicks.

cavs1The Cavaliers (also known as Cavs) went on a run late first quarter. The run started with LeBron open court dunk, then a put back dunk by Tristan Thompson, the Canadian, the rebounding X-factor machine. He finished with a Double-double: 10 points and 14 rebounds. Then, the Cavs just started pouring down 3’s from Kyle Korver and Richard Jefferson. Cavs came back from being down early with their fire power run. Carmelo Anthony made a buzzer beater 3 at the end of the first quarter, but it didn’t count. Cavs leads 34-33 at the end of the 1st quarter. LeBron balling in the second quarter and the Cavs took the lead. The blow out and beat down was about to begin.

Cavs looking their normal self; they just had to get it right and oh boy, they are clicking. Kristaps Porzingis left the game with a sprain ankle; he should be okay. Carmelo Anthony finished with 20 points. Kyrie Irving and LeBron James taking this game over. The game was over in the 4th quarter, for real. Blow out as you can say. LeBron James had a Triple-double. Cavs finished strong at home. LeBron straight glassing Courtney Lee, a run down glass too. LOL, geeesh. Kyrie Irving dropped 23 points and LeBron James finished with 18 points, 15 assist and 13 rebounds — straight A glassing. A big game. 48th Career Triple-double. Cavs won, 119-104.

NHL in Madison Square Garden, New York, New York

Alex Ovechkin, the Left Wing, scored in the 17th minute on a power play with assist from the two Centers: Lars Eller and  Evgeny Kuznetsov. In the second period to tie the game up, after the New York Ranger took the lead in the first period, with Right Wing, Mats Zuccarello, scoring the goal getting assisted by Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad. The game was tie till the 3rd period. I don’t know what Brook Orpik was doing getting two penalties in the 3rd period. The first one was in the 15th minute with 2 minutes penalty for interference and in the 8th minute for holding. The game was already tough enough can’t be letting penalties like that stop you. That’s how the New York Rangers gets Power Plays and make the game easier for them.

nynhl1.png

The game was closed over in the 3rd period in the 7th minute and 49 seconds. Defense Man, Ryan McDonagh, scored a goal getting that nice assist from Rick Nash and Derek Stepan. Ryan McDonagh looks like a Defensive…geez…broo looks touugh. That was the game winner since the New York Rangers won 2-1. New York Rangers doing good this week with the exception of the New York Islanders lost. They playing tough now like grrrr.

nynhl2.pngBoth goalies played good this game as it was a close game. But the team who wants it the most pulled it out. Henrik Lundqvist, Ranger Goalie, had the most saves with 31 (.969 pct) while Washington Capitals’ Philipp Grubauer had only 28 saves (.933). Henrik Lundqvist ties Chris Osgood with 401 wins for the 11th most wins in NHL history for a goalie. New York in Hockey day in America on NBC pretty good on a Sunday. Looking good in a packed arena in New York City, Madison Square Garden.

Oooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooo. Game Time. Brainy Versatility.

Battle IN New York

holden

Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York. New York Rangers vs. New York Islanders. Rangers took an early lead in the 1st, but in the second quarter Islanders came back aggressively scoring two goals. They lead 2-1. Defensive player, Nick Holden, scored the 1st goal of the game for the Rangers. Islanders Left Wing, Andrew Ladd, scored two goals along with the Center, Anders Lee, who scored another goal to put them up. Battle of NY here, who going to win this?

Going into the last quarter the Islanders are still wining 2-1 with under 17 mins left. Long game to go, so it is still close. Looking like Islanders going to win this battle, BUT can’t say so yet still some hockey left to play. Hockey on a Thursday night. Puck it out, LOL. Who going to show up and close out the game? The Goalie, Defense man, Left or Right Wing or the Center? We will see. The game is close and we will see what will happened, hmmm.

kulemin

Jimmy Vesey, the Left Wing, scored for the Rangers to tie the game up and Islanders Left Wings also scored. Nikolay Kulemin to put the Islanders up in the game. Battle of the Left Wings, I see. This is getting serious. 3-2 Islanders’ lead. Islanders not letting go this lead go. Getting intense in here. Oooooo, get ready! Islanders finished the game up with scoring one more goal to win 4-2. Good game by the New York Islanders. Top Skaters were: Nikolay Kulemin for the Islanders and Rick Nash for the Rangers.

Islanders won this NY Battle tonight in a full arena. Wining. Heart. Brainy Versatility.
