4 Techniques to shoot like RAY Allen (Nothing but Net)

shoot

If you been reading my posts, you see that I have been doing some basketball drills for working out to get in shape. I mean, I can shoot; and the drill, just enhancing my jumper. Do you want to know how to shoot? Well, you in the right post. Your jumper is about to be wet, like a straight splash. You will be making more shots after this. I mention some of my shooting tips in little details in my workout post. You are about to get the full detailed how to make that game winning shot. I mean, I give kids advice of shooting tips and they get good results from it. OK. Time to get your jumper WET LIKE CURRY SINCE KIDS THESE DAYS PROBABLY DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT RAY ALLEN. YOUTUBE RAY ALLEN, HE CAN SHOOT!

Technique 1: When shooting a basketball, you have to make sure one of your hand is under the ball and the other hand guides a ball (the guiding hand). That is the basics, but I want you to get close to the rim and get the basketball and shoot with one hand.

This is what I mean, get the ball and put your hands (shooting hand) under the ball with your elbow in with your knees bend. The picture shown above illustrates what I am saying if you didn’t get it exactly.

Technique 2 and 3: Make sure when you shoot, you use the tip of your fingers and spread your fingers to shoot and give it a nice flick of the wrist.

Technique 4: Of course, bend your knees, it is vital to the process of shooting. Your knees give the whole shooting process flow, and shooting is all about proper flow. So, your knees give your shot power to get to the rim to make the shot. When you finish shooting, hold the pose of flicking your wrist after you shoot for following through your shot.

The goal is to get used to holding the ball properly and shooting with your finger tip, while your fingers are spread apart with your elbows in and bending your knees for a better release off your fingers to get a high percentage of making a NOTHING BUT NET SHOT.

Make sure when you’re shooting, you shoot with the tip of your fingers (reminding you). Keep practicing shooting with the one hand till you get the hang of those techniques properly.

Once you get those 4 techniques down, you got past the hard part. If you can shoot with one hand following those detailed techniques, then you graduated. Your jumper has elevated. Now, once you start shooting with your guide hand  the hand that guides the ball when you shoot with the shooting hand, you will have a smooth release and you will make more shots. The more you shoot with the tip of your fingers (fingers spread and elbows in) and knees bend, you should be swooping those nets. Nothing but net. Follow those techniques and see what happens. I am telling you, your jumper will be SPLASHING THE NET. Keep practicing and STICK with it.

Can the Golden State Warriors Deliver a Championship RING without Kevin Durant? The Original Team Needs to Get Their Chemistry Back!

GSW

Before I start, let me give you all a quick run down of what is going on from the beginning. Kevin Durant left in the first quarter of the Washington Wizards game. Home return for him, uh. He has a Grade 2 Medial Collateral Ligament (MCL) Sprain and Tibial Bone Bruise. Kevin Durant and teammate, Zaza Pachulia, collided, which caused the injuries Kevin sustained. It is not sure when Durant will be back, but the question is, even if he did come back by the end of the season, will he be healthy enough to be an All Star contributor to the Golden State Warriors winning a ring? Will the original team with the main ingredient being Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala be enough to win it all? Well, it doesn’t look like that, since they lost to the Washington Wizards and the Chicago Bulls. Making them losing their 1st back to back game in years. Keep in mind that, out of the last 9 games, Warriors lost 5 out of those 9. Losing another back to back to back. 3 games losing streak: one to the Boston Celtics, Minessota Timberwolves and the San Antonio Spurs as of now. If the warriors have to get their chemistry back with the original ingredient team, well, it doesn’t look like they might have enough time. Playoff is about chemistry and with limited games left to develop some on court chemistry their chances of wining a ring is up in the air. With what Coach Steve Kerr is doing with benching starters and not playing them will see if it works. They need to relax and withstand the pressure. They need to recollect themselves and get back to their winning ways.

It is simply that the Warriors need Kevin Durant to win a ring. They need some star power to put them over the top. Critics are saying that the Warriors wouldn’t even get out the 1st round without being Durant healthy. The Warriors will not beat the Cavaliers in the Championship round if Kevin Durant isn’t there, says Charles Barkley. I think he might be right. I mean, look, the Cavaliers has heart after wining the championship game after being down 3-1. I mean, the Cavs owned the Warriors original team, so unless Durant comes back and gives them that big boost over the championship top, I don’t think Warriors has it in them. I like the Matt Barnes pick up. He is a baller and he has heart, so that is good they have him and Draymond Green. He might give them that heart that they need. Kevin Durant being out indefinitely is a big deal in the Warriors world. Lets hope the Warriors has the best of the best doctors, doctor of physical therapists included to help Durant dominate this injury. No one knew how big Durant was to the team winning a championship but now they know.

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green

With Kevin Durant being healthy, well, the Warriors are going to the NBA Finals. Durant gives the Warriors a chance to dominate but that doesn’t mean they will win the ring. But all you need is a chance and Kevin Durant is THAT chance that needs to get physically healthy for the Warriors to get back on top. This is grinding month in the NBA season, so the Warriors has to be focus and do some work. They need to stop tripping and buckle down. Ignore all the distractions and let the doctors work on Durant to get him back in time and fully healthy for the playoffs or maybe the second round of the playoffs. The question is, can the Golden State Warriors actually win it all in the NBA Playoffs? That answer is everyone’s opinion right now, but the real answers will come in June when we see who are in the finals, so lets see what happens. Most people think they will not win the championship without Durant because they have no faith in the Warriors without Durant. I think Durant will be okay and he will come back to the All Star player he is. But will the Warriors win the Championship without Durant? Well, hmmmmm, it doesn’t look like it right now, but we will see. Keep hope alive and stay focusing. Deal with the task in hand and all will be good. If the Warriors get their mind right and get Durant back, I think they might have a good chance to win it all thinking about it. Watch out for the Spurs though. People always sleeping on the Spurs, but the Warriors needs to tighten up to win this ring. I think they have it in them. They just need to re-focus.

How the Warriors had a Record Setting Night

0223.1.pngThe game on Thursday night looked like the Golden State Warriors were going to fight against the Los Angeles Clippers to the end. The rivalry goes several years back with the Clippers talking smack; so now the Golden State Warriors zipped them up (almost every time they play now). Clippers playing good for now in the 1st half. Clippers, without Chris Paul, was still leading big at half time, 61-49. The Clippers had the lead up to 16 points. You know the Clippers playing good when Blake Griffin shooting and making 3’s. This is a rivalry game, you can tell with the technical fouls (4 techs) and the Warriors took a while to get their engine running. They went off in the 3rd quarter. Curry making 3’s and shaking and baking to the rim. Stephen Curry making 3 and getting fouled. Five 3’s for Curry so far, and dancing doing it. Kevin Durant scoring 15 points in the 3rd quarter shooting 6 for 7.

0223.2.png

Warriors scoring 50 points in the 3rd quarter.  The first 50-point quarter since March of 2014, when the Knicks played the Lakers. Lakers scored 51 on the Knicks; but this record-setting night as this is unlikely to drop 50 in a quarter. Stephen Curry had 35 points by the end of the 3rd. Curry making a buzzer beating 3 to end the third quarter. A 31-footer buzzer beater for Curry. 20 points and 5 3’s in the third quarter alone for Stephen Curry. The Golden State Warriors scored 99 points by the end of the 3rd with a quarter left. I must say, they had 49 points at half time. High power offense.

The Golden State Warriors took over the game in the 3rd quarter. Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant Show. Los Angeles Clippers played in this rivalry game. The Warriors has too much offense. Mid-way through the fourth quarter, the game looks over. Warriors had a record-breaking second half. Warriors finally woke up. Draymond Green must have gave his high emotion half time speech. Curry shooting was a big reason the game was high scoring. Stephen Curry long 3’s and he got the range for days. Curry made 6 3’s by the way. Shout out for Shaun Livingston palm blocking Clippers Forward, Marreese Speights. Warriors had a good game as they shined at home in the Oracle Arena  — another record game. Warriors won, 123-113. They look good. Warriors won the season series 4-0.

NEW ORLEANS ALL STAR GAME

allstar4

The game begins with a standing ovation for the hometown hero New Orleans Pelicans and University Of Kentucky own Anthony Davis. Kevin Durant getting some no, so much love, LOL. The media making a big deal of Westbrook and Durant beef. Oklahoma Thunders’ Russell Westbrook doesn’t hold his feelings back as you all see. This will be a good game at the end of the fourth quarter if it is close. That is when they play the hardest. So lets see whose in and the West won last year in a blow out on Valentine’s Day 196-173 in Toronto, Canada. So lets see if the East wants to win this year. The West team looking like the squad to beat and East team looking all right.

all3.png

The Nigerian Decent, Greece Native and Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo, getting in some vicious dunks. Dunks everywhere like too many dunks. You all slow down, LOL. Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry making threes like he normally does, though to switch the dunk flow up, major LOL. Everyone scoring in the first quarter. Everyone getting along (cough…cough..LOL). Kevin Durant to Russell Westbrook for a dunk. Lots of Dunks, though. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Anthony Davis lead the 1st quarter with 10 points, though. Russell Westbrook and Boston Celtics’ Isaiah Thomas going at it with a 3-point shooting battle. Am Still on that dunk by Giannis Antetokounmpo. The wind mill one. Oooooo

Lots of traveling going on, not good, LOL. Stop that 4 to 5 steps traveling. This isn’t a trip, LOL. You are only allowed 2 steps. High scoring game; lets see if one of the team get to 200 points and make history. Both team combine for history setting record 189 points and the half time. 97-92 West wining at the half. I see Giannis Antetokounmpo dropping his 26th point on Steph Curry’s forehead. Giannis had a rebound off Steph Curry  and dunked over Steph Curry. Curry got a two hand dunk after he got dunk upon, LOL. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s family enjoying his dunks tonight and he is playing good; he has 28 points so far in his 1st All Star Game. He ended up with 30 points. That Greece Freak is long and athletic out of this world. Dropping Buckets.

all4.png

Anthony Davis taking the show over with scoring the All time All Star Game point record with 44 points. Russell Westbrook got 41 points right now so he is going to break that record. Wilt Chamberlain had the record with 42 points and 24 rebounds in the 1962 All Star Game In St. Louis Arena. Boston Celtics’ Bob Pettit won the All Star Game MVP though in St. Louis Arena. Anthony Davis, the home town player, looks like he is going to win the NBA All Star MVP. Anthony Davis has 52 points right now in the All Star Game.New Orleans Pelicans. That’s what I thought, Anthony Davis won the 2017 NBA ALL STAR MVP in the Smoothie King Center on his home court. 192-182 West All Stars Won.
